Founder and CEO of Ninetythree Media

Colombian born Juan Devis is the founder and CEO of Ninetythree Media. Devis was a director and producer before becoming Chief Content Officer at the largest independent premium content studio for public television in Los Angeles. Under his leadership, the studio won over 25 Emmys, James Beard Awards, and National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards. Throughout his career, Devis has advocated for greater representation, both in front and behind the camera, and a diversity in storytelling that addresses our common humanity.

Berg is co-founder and Chief Advisor of Ninetythree Media. He had a successful career in the entertainment industry, starting as a literary agent and later leading one of Hollywood's most powerful talent agencies, International Creative Management (ICM). He became known for his negotiating skills and represented some of the biggest names in the business. In 2012, he left ICM to start his consulting firm, Northside Services and now serves as Chief Advisor for Ninetythree Media. Throughout his career, he pushed for greater diversity and representation in Hollywood and advocated for a more inclusive and diverse future for the industry.

    Oscar Gomez was a star of the 1990s Chicano student movement, some considered him to be the next Cesar Chavez, and then, unexpectedly, he died in strange circumstances. A rattling event in host Adolfo Guzman Lopez’s life spurs him to investigate Oscar’s death, forcing him to re-think the history and purpose of the Chicano movement, his up-bringing as an undocumented Mexican Immigrant and the fierce anti-latino policies of the 1990’s.

    Beginning in 2019, Tigre Eléctrico follows Taita Pablo, a master of the plant medicine

    ayahuasca, as he mediates the wellbeing of his community. The invasion of coca

    production has brought a brutal capitalism and war to the Siona’s territory leaving them

    categorized by the Colombian state as “at risk of physical and cultural extinction.” Living

    amongst the devastation of their history in a contaminated landscape, Taita Pablo

    struggles to navigate the spirit world like his grandfathers once did.
